In the book of John, chapter nine tells the story of man blind from birth, being healed by Jesus. There, the entire gospel unfolds. Sin and forgiveness, faith and unbelief, pain and healing, blindness and sight. God's grace and forgiveness are for anyone who seeks it, anytime, anywhere, and at no cost. The setting of the story: the temple

OUR LOGO
As you've probably gathered by now we're all about forgiveness, healing, and restoration. as our logo symbolizes we go from dead branches, through the cross, and into a new life.
A few years ago I ran across a little book that expressed to me a lot of what I felt about my friend and Saviour, Jesus. Over the years, I've seen many try to define and re-define who Jesus was/is and nothing ever seemed to quite fit the Jesus I knew personally (really), and the one who was described in scripture. The book, "Jesus With Dirty Feet" by Don Everts, is short, simple, and clear about a vision of Jesus that most closely resembles that Jesus of scripture. That vision, which I do believe is starting to spread through the faithful, is one that breaks the old stereotypical Jesus that has brown flowing hair, blues eyes, perfect teeth, a Dutch accent, clean clothes, and a blue Miss America sash. When you stop to think about how Jesus spent every day of his life, who he spent it with, and what he was doing, there really was no glamor. You know what's great, he spent those days with people like me! and you! and everybody like us. Just ordinary, sometimes down-and-out, poor, needy, depressed, deprived, and sometimes not so pleasant, dirty people. That's who wanted and sought him. He got dirty daily. It's so important to me to know that he can relate to me and feel my pain, depression, and dirt. That is why I feel so loved by Him. That's the Jesus I want and seek.
